Rare OMEGA Seamaster 300 3rd-generation early model, Ref. 165.024, with its original caterpillar bracelet.

Among OMEGA's dive watches, the Seamaster 300 3rd-generation model is particularly popular.
This is the Seamaster 300 Ref. ST165.024, introduced in 1962.
The 3rd-generation model features an asymmetric case with distinctive crown guards known as the “ancient Greek lyre,” enhancing its practicality.
The early models were not equipped with a screw-down crown and are characterized by baton hands and a smaller trapezoid at 12 o'clock on the dial.
The early models are particularly rare.

Condition and Warranty

The dial shows some discoloration, but its condition is good, with a beautifully patinated matte black dial full of character.
The case has some scratches and light signs of wear, but no dents; its edges remain sharp and its condition is good.
The bezel has no cracks, and the markings remain clearly visible. It operates smoothly with a pleasing feel.
The caseback has some scratches, but the engravings remain and it is in good condition.
There are tool marks on the caseback, which have been left as they are to preserve the engravings.
It is fitted with the highly sought-after original OMEGA caterpillar bracelet from the period. (The extension functions, but as it has aged, some links move stiffly.)
The bracelet has scratches and dents in places, but there is relatively little sagging.

The dial, hands, and crystal have no particularly noticeable scratches or rubbing.
The bezel, case, and bracelet have only minor scratches, which were removed with light polishing.
Although light polishing has been performed, the edges appear to retain their shape with minimal rounding overall.
It remains in its original condition from the period and is considered to be in good overall condition.
