Hublot remains highly popular and is frequently featured in magazines.
This Hublot is from the 1980s and was among the earliest models sold with “MDM” printed on the dial.
Based on models from this era, it was reissued in a limited edition in 2020, then brought back into the lineup in 2023 as the “Classic Fusion Original.”
This is a Factory-Set Diamonds model and is dead stock.
At 36 mm, it is relatively large for a vintage watch and has a size similar to the current 38 mm models.
The diamond setting is understated and elegant, making it suitable for everyday wear.
Although it is quartz-powered, it offers the slimness and ease of use characteristic of quartz watches, which I feel suit this timepiece well.

Condition and Warranty
Vintage models often use more precious metal than current models, particularly on the bezel and especially the buckle. Current models have been cost-reduced by substituting materials such as ceramic, whereas this watch uses precious metal generously. It is nearly dead stock, in exceptionally clean condition, with almost no signs of wear. The Strap is a full 18 cm (it can be shortened), and the box and instruction manual are included.
The case has only a few light scratches, with no significant dents or damage. It is in beautiful condition.
The diamonds have no scratches or chips.
The dial is also very clean, with few scratches or signs of dirt. The hands have light rubbing.
The crystal has no scratches and is exceptionally clean.
The original 18k deployant buckle and original Strap are in excellent condition, with no cracking, and measure approximately 18 cm—close to a full size.
The Strap measures 18 cm. If this size is not suitable, a separate order through Hublot will be required.
We can cut it shorter at our shop.
