’’Rare Piece’’ Boucheron WG 1950 OMEGA

We will notify you by email when this watch, the same model, or a related model becomes available.

Having recently been featured by HODINKEE, Boucheron watches from before 1970 are now highly sought-after. We were able to acquire this virtually never-seen-on-the-market Boucheron Reflet from the 1950s with a Manual-Winding movement. This white gold model was produced in particularly small numbers even among these watches, making it an exceptionally rare piece. The movement is by Omega, which is another attractive feature thanks to its high reliability. (As indicated by the case markings, Boucheron used externally supplied movements during this period.) As it is virtually never seen on the market, this is an especially valuable and rare example. As watch enthusiasts know, the 1950s was an era, much like Cartier’s, of small-batch production for a limited clientele, with a strong emphasis on handmade, made-to-order pieces. It used a patented clasp system that remains in use today, with the Strap sliding on and off. It was unique in its era. Because the Buckle is Boucheron’s special clasp type, we provide a complimentary Strap-making service, custom-sized to the purchaser’s Wrist Size. After purchase, we will measure your Wrist Size, order the Strap, and fit it before delivery. (The Strap shown in the photos is for illustrative purposes and is not included.) The watch will also be delivered after an overhaul. Delivery takes approximately four to six weeks after purchase. Please contact us if you would like to order the Strap yourself.

## Condition and Warranty The case has minor scratches but no major dents. It is essentially unpolished, and considering its Era, the case is remarkably clean. Most notably, the case edges remain sharply defined, making this a historically rare model that clearly remained unpolished for many years. The dial, hands, and other components have some scratches and dirt, but are considered clean given the Era. The hands show some tarnishing, but it adds attractive character, and they appear to be in good condition. The crystal is also clean. There are no other particularly noticeable issues, and the watch has not been polished in order to preserve its original condition. Overall, it is in good condition considering its Era.
