BOVET Le Faucon Limited Edition of 12 Skeleton Case Back Automatic

This time we're introducing LE FAUCON from BOVET, a high-end manufacture brand. This is a special watch, limited to 12 pieces worldwide, featuring a display case back, an automatic movement, a dial intricately painted using the traditional technique of cloisonné enamel, and diamonds to depict the falcon's plumage. This watch was produced by BOVET around 1998, with only 12 pieces made worldwide. It's an ambitious piece with a falcon depicted on the dial. Around this period, it is believed that BOVET produced several limited edition models in very small quantities. BOVET is not widely known in Japan, but it is a globally recognized ultra-luxury brand. Known as a manufacture brand, it limits its annual production to 800 pieces, with one-third being custom orders. Regular models range from approximately 3 million to 60 million yen, while custom orders can reach unlimited prices. While Bovet is known mainly for its Fleurier models, which are inspired by pocket watches, this piece is unusually shaped like a traditional wristwatch, making it quite rare. Although difficult to see in photos, upon closer inspection with the naked eye, the dial reveals a detailed and three-dimensional reproduction of colors, making it beautiful. Perhaps to express the plumage with diamonds, each diamond's cut and color differ, showcasing the immense effort of the craftsman. The open-worked hands are also a thoughtful touch, allowing for a better appreciation of the dial. The movement is a manufacture caliber, developed and produced in-house by Bovet. The open-worked rotor is also exceptionally beautiful. There are minor scratches on the case, but no dents or deep scratches are visible. It is in very good condition. There are almost no scratches on the front or back glass. Overall, it is considered to be in very good condition. The dial and hands are in good condition. (Please note that since the dial is handcrafted by artisans, there may be slight unevenness in the paint from when it was new.) The strap is a custom-ordered crocodile strap from our store.
