The Tank Normale LM, the most talked-about model recently, is said to be the prototype for the Tank series.
Among the Louis Cartier Collection of the 1970s, it is an extremely rare and highly sought-after model, with very few manufactured and even fewer in circulation.
It is a highly valuable item as a men's size LM with a manual winding movement.
This item underwent a complete service in July 2023 and comes with an official 24-month warranty.
The case is in good condition, and the manual winding LM is very difficult to obtain, so it is a recommended timepiece.
The case is generally in good condition with no major dents or scratches.
There are some minor scratches, but to preserve its original condition, we have avoided polishing it as much as possible. (If desired, some polishing can be done.)
The important case edges, unique to the Normale, remain, suggesting that it probably had minimal polishing originally. The engravings on the side are also still visible.
The case back has some minor scratches, but the serial number remains, and the condition is good.
The dial is a "Swiss" dial and is very clean. There are no stains or cracks whatsoever.
We assume the dial was replaced during a complete service prior to 2023. Since it says "Swiss" and not "Swiss made," it is likely not a very recent replacement.
The glass and hands are also clean, and no scratches are visible to the naked eye.
Overall, it can be said to be a very clean individual piece.
The buckle is a rare 18k YG buckle from that era.
