Cartier Limited to 150 Pieces 1997

A rare rectangular model created to commemorate Cartier's 150th anniversary, limited to 150 pieces worldwide. The standard model has a blue crown, while the limited edition has a red crown that gives it an exceptional presence. The case back is engraved with L?C, a hallmark used when Cartier was founded, as well as the individual Serial Number, making this a special specification. The Buckle and watch case are integrated, making it easy to put on and remove, while demonstrating an intricate construction. Only a few watch models were ever made with this front Buckle design, making it rare. Several 150th-anniversary models were released, but this model is even rarer because it combines Cartier's classic Tank design with a limited production run. We had a custom Leather Strap made exclusively for our store. It is crafted from red alligator leather with red stitching, closely resembling the original strap from the period.
