We are pleased to introduce a rare Medico-Compax by Universal Genève, a brand famous for developing micro-rotors and other innovations.
While Universal Genève is well-known for its Tri-Compax, this is a chronograph model created for medical professionals, featuring a pulsemeter for simple pulse measurement.
It was manufactured around 1940.
Medico-Compaxes were produced in very limited numbers, and this particular model with its beautiful and extremely rare salmon pink dial, unique to Universal, gives it a very distinguished atmosphere.
The Medico-Compax itself is a globally rare item, but with a salmon pink dial, it becomes an even rarer piece.
As few fully functional examples exist, this model is almost never seen in circulation.
The chronograph is also functioning correctly.
Regarding its condition, the case has minor scratches and some thinning of the plating, but no major dents or damage.
The dial, hands, etc., show some scratches and dirt, but are considered clean given their age.
The crystal is free of scratches and is very clean.
There are no other particularly noticeable areas, and it has not been polished to maintain its original condition.
Considering its age, it is in good overall condition.
The buckle is Universal's genuine GP. The band is aftermarket.
It has been overhauled.
