Introducing the Coin Edge Round Golden Shadow AT Micro-Rotor by Universal Geneve, famous for developing micro-rotors and other innovations.
The 18k yellow gold coin-edge bezel immediately brings to mind the design of Patek's Calatrava.
The movement is a thin automatic winding Cal. 2-66 micro-rotor, a specialty of Universal.
Models equipped with micro-rotors were very rare, typically only found in ultra-luxury brands like Patek. This movement is ultra-thin at only 2.5mm.
Patek has a nearly identical model, the 3992J, which also features a micro-rotor. The coin edge and lug aesthetics are similar, making this a great value for the price.
The dial, hands, and crystal are free of any noticeable scratches, and there is minimal dirt.
The case is also free of major scratches, and the overall condition is excellent.
The buckle is an original Universal GP buckle. The strap is aftermarket.
