This is a rare IWC OCEAN 500 Ref. 3502, an early Porsche Design titanium model.
It is a masterpiece designed by Porsche and manufactured by IWC. With 500-meter water resistance and a titanium case, it boasts high specifications and a stylish design that are still relevant today.
The main difference from the Ocean 2000 is the water resistance (2000m vs. 500m), but the case construction, robustness, and the movement used are the same.
While it feels smaller than the 2000, it's not excessively small and is lighter.
This Ref. 3502 is one of the very first models, lacking the IWC logo.
It's quite a rare find, as it's uncommon to find one in good condition with its original bracelet.
There are several Ocean 500 models from early to late production, mainly differing in dial markings and bracelet shape.
This is an early model, a first-generation model with the fewest remaining examples. (Early models have a single lock, later models have a pin system).
It's a rare find for collectors, as many pieces have had their bracelets replaced with newer types during manufacturer overhauls.
This is an early model with "PD" clearly written on the dial.
The size is a perfect 33mm, and the titanium case and bracelet make it extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear.
The bezel has an anti-reverse rotation function, and the luminous material is tritium, making it highly practical.
The condition of the dial, hands, crystal, etc., shows no noticeable scratches or scuffs.
The bezel, case, and bracelet have only minor scratches and are in clean, unpolished condition (it hasn't been polished due to being titanium).
The bracelet is full-link, measuring 19cm, so it should fit a wide range of wrists. (It's quite rare to find a second-generation bracelet with 1cm links).
All parts are original from that period, and overall it appears to be in good condition.
