The "Tank Louis," historically still popular, and the Must Tank, released for general public.
Rare early Must Tanks are referred to as Pre-Must Tanks, and this particular model is a Pre-Must Tank for the European market, produced in even smaller quantities.
The European specification has a basic construction almost identical to the Tank Louis, with the main differences being that the case is vermeil instead of 18k gold, and the dial's inscription is in cursive rather than block letters.
For this reason, it is popular because it looks like a Louis at first glance, but it is a very rare item.
With the high price of the Louis today, this is a highly recommended piece.
Regarding its condition, the case has very few dents or scratches, and the plating is still largely intact.
To preserve the original plating, it has not been polished much, so there are some scratches, but the overall condition is considered good.
The dial, hands, and crystal are all clean, and for a Pre-Must, it is in remarkably good condition.
In particular, the dial is free of cracks and scratches, and is a very beautiful white without discoloration.
The buckle is the original GP from that period.
