Cartier Tank Louis LM Manual Wind PARISDial Complete Service

The quintessential Tank Louis Cartier from the Tank collection. In recent years, its value has continued to rise, with the rarity of LM Manual-Winding models from around 1970 increasing particularly rapidly. This is an exceptionally rare example that received a complete service from Cartier and has a new PARIS Dial. Normally, even on a PARIS Dial model, replacing the dial through Cartier’s complete service changes the dial to one marked “Swiss Made.” This rare example, however, had its dial replaced with a PARIS Dial. The criteria and conditions for receiving a PARIS Dial are unknown, but this is unquestionably an authentic example. Such pieces appear to surface only extremely rarely. The Buckle is a highly unusual Early Model 18k Buckle from the 1970s. The Strap is a genuine Cartier Strap with very little wear. It is exceptionally rare to find a complete set like this with a new PARIS Dial following a complete service. In recent years, the color of dials replaced during authorized servicing has been whiter than that of dials from around 1970–1980, with a stronger, porcelain-like luster. It also offers excellent legibility and durability. A dial replaced through a complete service is made from a material that is less prone to cracking. With its well-preserved PARIS Dial, this watch is especially suitable for Everyday Wear.
