Rare IWC Ingenieur IW3508 Two-Tone model with a yellow-gold bezel and crown and a stainless-steel case and bracelet. This Ingenieur was designed by Gérald Genta, famous for designing the Nautilus and Royal Oak. The IW3508 is the model with the strongest antimagnetic resistance in the history of the Ingenieur and the watch that made the Ingenieur known worldwide. While current reissue models also offer antimagnetic resistance, they are nowhere near the IW3508’s 500,000 A/m, compared with 44,000 A/m. It was an exceptionally high-performance model, but because enormous costs were invested without regard for production efficiency, it was discontinued after only a few years and produced in very limited numbers—an almost inconceivable model by modern standards. Models in good condition are becoming increasingly scarce each year, and prices continue to rise. Its 34mm size offers an exceptionally comfortable fit. The combination of a gold bezel and black dial is also chic and striking. The movement is equipped with Cal. 2892-A2, offering excellent antimagnetic and shock resistance as well as outstanding practicality.
