Rolex Cellini Rectangular Dark Red Dial

The Rolex “Cellini,” named after the Renaissance sculptor Benvenuto Cellini. While Rolex is strongly associated with Oyster and sports watches, dress watches have recently been reevaluated and are gaining appreciation. This is a model from around 1970, such as Ref. 4014. It features a yellow-gold rectangular case and a mirror-finished red dial. The dial changes expression depending on the light and angle, with a beautiful color rarely seen today, giving the watch a luxurious character and distinctive atmosphere. In terms of size, it is close to the vintage Tank Louis LM, so even those who favor the Tank should be able to wear it comfortably without it feeling out of place. The movement is equipped with Cal. 1600, a highly reliable movement. The Leather Strap is the one fitted when we acquired the watch.
