We are pleased to present this Girard-Perregaux two-register chronograph with a Valjoux 22 movement.
This Girard-Perregaux chronograph was released in the 1940s.
A rare chronograph powered by the prestigious Valjoux 22 of the period, it features the column wheel that was characteristic of high-end chronographs.
Girard-Perregaux watches with Valjoux 22 movements—and examples with dials and cases in such excellent condition—rarely come to market, making this piece particularly rare.
Its 38 mm case was considered large for its time. It is an ideal size for a modern chronograph, while the stylish lug design gives it a look that remains thoroughly contemporary.
The Strap and Buckle are both aftermarket.

Condition and Warranty
Overall, it is in good condition, with few significant dents or scratches. The 10–20-micron gold plating remains in good condition, with little thinning.
The case has not become thin and retains its original condition.
The dial and hands show some aging, but remain quite attractive.
Overhauled by our shop. The chronograph functions and reset operate properly.
