Gerald Genta’s original brand, created by the designer behind the hugely popular Nautilus, Constellation, and Royal Oak.
Known as the “Picasso of the watch world,” Gerald Genta is a pillar of the industry, celebrated by every watch enthusiast for leaving numerous masterpieces in horological history.
This retrograde design is a uniquely Genta-inspired creation. It is the G.3634 Retro Jumping Hour model.
While other versions are relatively common, the Black Dial is exceptionally rare.
Well-preserved examples of the G.3634 with a Black Dial are highly valued overseas. In November 2021, one sold for approximately CHF 1.8 million at the renowned Phillips auction.
This is a rare piece of the same model as the one offered at that auction, with a case number only about 40 numbers apart.
Gerald’s Mickey models have risen severalfold in value over the past year, and special models have been surging in price. This Black Dial may well follow the same trend.
The original Buckle is included, while a non-original Strap is currently fitted. Although it shows signs of use, the original strap is also included.

Condition and Warranty
There are no major dents, scratches, or other significant damage. The watch has been Lightly Polished, while its original character has been preserved thanks to its already limited prior wear.
The crystal and dial are also free of scratches and dirt and remain in excellent condition. (The lume has discolored with age but glows under blue light.)
