Universal Genève Skeleton BlackDiamonds

We will notify you by email when this watch, the same model, or a related model becomes available.

Universal Genève, renowned for developments such as the microrotor, is an 18-karat solid-gold, double-sided skeletonized manual-winding watch produced in a limited run during the 1980s. This model was specially commissioned from Universal by The Franklin Mint. Both the front and back are skeletonized, allowing the celebrated in-house Cal. 2-42 movement to be viewed. The engraving is beautifully executed, and the clearly legible indices solve the poor readability often associated with skeleton watches. Its particularly notable qualities are its slimness and light weight, making it highly practical to wear. Although the brand is not especially familiar in Japan, its vintage watches are highly popular overseas. Special models such as the famous Tri-Compax trade for several million yen or more.
