The Tank Normale LM is the original model for the Tank series and has recently garnered significant attention.
It made headlines with its limited-edition revival of 100 pieces in 2023, but that version differs from the original in several aspects: it's slightly larger, has a silver dial, and a brushed case.
Given that the limited edition is essentially unobtainable and retailed for close to 5 million yen, the value of this original is expected to increase.
Among the Louis Cartier Collection from the 1970s, this model had particularly low production numbers, and very few are currently in circulation.
This piece boasts the highest rarity value, featuring a men's size (LM), manual winding, and an original PARIS dial.
The overall condition is good, with few major dents or scratches.
In terms of minor details, there are slight dents on parts of the bezel at 2 and 10 o'clock, visible depending on the lighting.
These could be polished out, but we've chosen to leave them as is to preserve the original condition, and they are not very noticeable.
The dial is clean, but faint cracks are visible throughout.
They are only visible under certain lighting and are hard to notice unless you look closely.
As it's a rare PARIS dial, we don't recommend it, but if you're concerned, you might consider a dial replacement through Cartier's complete service.
