OMEGA Seamaster 300 1st Model
This is a 1960 Ref. CK2913, Cal.500 1st Seamaster 300.
The Seamaster 300, launched by Omega in 1955, has many subtypes, from the 1st to the 2nd and 3rd generations.
This particular model was made in the mid-to-late period of the 1st generation.
The dot-shaped seconds hand, bezel, dial, and hands are all original, making this a very rare piece.
First-generation Seamasters are generally not available in the Japanese market, so they are quite rare.
In particular, it is believed that 1st generation Seamaster 300s with dot hands are almost never seen.
This product has an archive obtained from Omega in 2018.
The daily difference is about ±20 seconds. The bezel rotates without issue.
As for the fine details, the bezel's color has peeled off, but I believe this adds to its character.
Some of the luminous material on the hands has come off, but the hands themselves are in very good condition.
The engraving on the case back is faint, but the Seahorse mark is still visible.
The bracelet is an Omega 8220 bracelet.
The crown is believed to be a replacement crown that matches the model number.
The 1st generation is divided into early to mid-to-late periods, with specification changes such as the movement being cal500 or cal501, and differences in the shape of the seconds hand.
However, as model changes were frequent at the time, there seems to be no definitive answer, and it is not possible to conclusively state that a certain specification corresponds to a certain year.
Overseas, it is traded for about 2 million yen without a bracelet.
The possibility of re-stocking this item in the future is very low, so those considering it should contact us as soon as possible.
