It is a rare specification adopted for vintage Cartier watches mainly from the 1970s and 80s,
and its structure is different from current deployant buckles.
It is not designed to adjust the belt length at the buckle; instead, it requires a dedicated strap tailored to the wearer's wrist size.
This is a rare genuine part that was used in some vintage models such as the Tank Louis, Ceinture, and Vendôme of that era.
It is not compatible with straps designed for current deployant buckles.
A flat-shaped strap specifically for the old model deployant buckle is required.
We also offer 12mm and 16mm sizes at the same price.
