The CPCP series, Collection Privee Cartier Paris, represents Cartier in the 2000s.
This is a Tank Louis CPCP model with an exhibition case back and manual winding, in an XL size.
It's a model of the iconic Tank with "PARIS" inscribed below the "Cartier" logo at 12 o'clock, a hallmark of CPCP.
This is a rare item, manufactured only for a very short period from 2006 to 2008.
There is very little circulation in the market, so many people are probably looking for it.
The movement is a Piaget-made manual-winding Cal.9701MC, and it features an exhibition case back.
The combination of the classic Tank Louis and an exhibition case back is extremely rare, making this CPCP model with an exhibition case back highly unique.
The genuine CPCP box is also included.
The Tank CPCP is a rare and unique piece due to its very limited production, and its modernized dial and exhibition case back movement are eye-catching.
Unlike the vintage Tank Louis LM, this model differs in size, with a case that is about 1-2mm larger than the current LM (automatic winding model) being sold.
The case is very thin due to its slim movement, giving it an elegant feel.
Additionally, the distinct guilloché pattern on the dial gives it a strong presence. We highly recommend this very rare model.
Both the case and case back have minor scratches, but there are almost no dents, and it is in very clean condition. Polishing seems to have been minimal.
Both the dial and hands are in very clean condition.
There are no scratches on the glass either.
Overall, it is in quite clean condition.
The band is original. The underside is slightly damaged, but if it bothers you, we recommend ordering a new band. The buckle is 18k PG.
