Vintage BOVET Fleurier D801.0 18K White Gold Blue Guilloché Dial

Introducing BOVET, the luxury manufacture brand’s Fleurier D801.0.
This model features a highly unusual dial design.
The blue Guilloché Dial features star indices and the characters “15.巳, 9.”
Where the numeral 3 would normally appear, there is a 15, and where 6 would normally appear, there is 巳, which may be considered auspicious.
With its relatively large 39mm white-gold case, white-gold Deployant Buckle, Exhibition Caseback, and highly rare, distinctive dial, this is a particularly interesting timepiece.
This BOVET dates from after 2000. Although details are unknown, it appears to be a limited-production model made in a small quantity, perhaps to order.
BOVET may not be widely known in Japan, but it is a globally recognized luxury brand.
The brand is known as a manufacture that limits annual production to 800 pieces, with one-third made to order.
The dial is a beautiful blue Guilloché Dial, and the case is white gold.
The initials of the person who commissioned the watch are engraved at the 6 o’clock lug.
A 39mm white-gold case paired with a Deployant Buckle is exceptionally rare for this Era.
The movement is a manufacture caliber developed and produced entirely in-house by BOVET.
