Made in 2001, this women’s Franck Muller Tonneau Curvex pairs a white gold case with a silver dial and a bezel fully set with baguette diamonds. It features a Manual-Wind movement—an uncommon choice for a women’s model—and three rows of diamonds along the case sides.
The diamonds use an invisible setting, with no prongs visible from the surface. This allows the stones to follow the curves of the Tonneau Curvex case in a precise, uninterrupted arrangement.

The combination of a Manual-Wind movement, three rows of diamonds, and invisible setting makes this configuration especially distinctive. The current version of this type uses a Quartz movement and a single row of diamonds, with a retail price above ¥10 million, making it a less elaborate configuration than this watch.
Model Story
Invisible setting is also known as mystery setting. The technique has been used in high jewelry by houses such as Van Cleef & Arpels, including pieces offered only to a limited clientele. This watch is regarded as a configuration that can no longer be produced, reflecting a notably high level of technical execution and overall quality.
CONDITION
The watch is in exceptionally clean overall condition with very few signs of wear. The diamonds also remain in clean condition, and no scratches are visible on the dial or crystal.
It comes with a new original Franck Muller strap bearing Franck Muller’s handwritten signature. The original white gold buckle is set with diamonds.
Each watch is individually inspected, including its exterior, dial, and movement. We primarily offer vintage watches that remain in good overall condition, though minor signs of age may be present.
