Piaget Manual Wind YGGold piaget cal.9P Ref. 908
Here we present a 1970s Piaget tank-style model, commonly known as the Piaget Tank.
Production numbers were limited, and as a Piaget, it features a high-quality case and movement. It is an excellent piece for its price range and comes highly recommended.
Piaget is renowned for perfecting ultra-thin watches, and, as you may know, Piaget movements were used in vintage Cartier models.
This model has become increasingly popular in recent years because it allows you to enjoy a Tank model powered by a Piaget movement at an accessible price.
It shares the same case type as the Cartier and Piaget collaboration piece we introduced previously.
The dial also features subtle Guilloché, and although the case has a flat construction, it conveys an elegant character.
As an original Piaget, it does not have the intricate detailing or premium appeal of a Cartier, but it is a superb piece whose underlying quality is readily apparent.
This high-end model dates from the 1970s and is powered by Piaget’s cal. 9P movement.
Its proportions are also close to those of the Tank Louis LM and standard Tank, making it very easy to wear while offering a luxurious presence.
