The caseback has no particularly noticeable scratches, and the engravings remain intact. The case has been polished only minimally overall, with no noticeably diminished profile. The dial and other components are clean and free of dirt and scratches. 5|Cartier Santos-Dumont Large Extra-Flat, PARIS Dial, Men’s Among the Santos-Dumont series, the Extra-Flat is a celebrated thin model, ref. 96054. This is a later model with a Guilloché Dial. Unlike the earlier PARIS Dial, the Guilloché Dial has a lustrous, silver-toned appearance. The classic styling and lustrous dial are chic while also feeling contemporary and beautiful. Its case, movement, dial, and essentially all specifications are the same as the CPCP model released around 2000, making it recommended for those seeking a CPCP Santos. Like the dial of the CPCP Santos, it features an exceptionally beautiful, lustrous Guilloché Dial. It is presumed that the dial was replaced during a complete service after 2000. In terms of specifications, the dial is nearly identical to that of the CPCP Santos-Dumont. It is fitted with the thin Frederic Piguet Cal. 21 movement, a model highly sought after by enthusiasts. The Buckle is an original 18k yellow-gold Buckle. The Santos-Dumont Extra-Flat Large is rare in itself, and examples in even better condition are exceptionally uncommon. ## Condition and Warranty The case and dial are in exceptionally good condition. The dial is extremely clean, with almost no discoloration or scratches. It can be described as being in outstanding condition. The case retains its edges well, with little of the rounding typically caused by polishing. It has some scratches but no significant dents. The Serial Number on the caseback remains clearly visible. The crystal is nearly scratch-free. It is clean overall. Although there is some light wear, this is an excellent example for a vintage watch. The overall condition is exceptionally good.
