Cartier Santos Galbée XL SS Ref. W20098D6
This is the large XL size from the long-running Santos Galbée line.
With a date display and seconds hand, it is one of the Cartier collections that is easy to enjoy every day.
Released in 2005 as a derivative of the Santos Galbée, the XL was sold for a very short period and is exceptionally rare.
It has a slightly larger presence than the Santos Galbée and Santos Carrée models that had been produced since the 1980s, but is smaller than the current Santos, giving it a distinctly vintage feel.
Its well-balanced proportions, slim movement, and rounded deployant bracelet make it an especially practical model.
This is a luxury sports design that can be enjoyed with a vintage feel.

Condition and Warranty
This example has very few scratches or dents overall and is in excellent overall condition.
There are some fine scratches, but the bracelet has very little stretch and is in excellent condition.
Only a light polish has been performed, with polishing kept to a minimum.
The case has some minor scratches and signs of use, but relatively few significant impact marks. (Polishing has been kept to a minimum.)
The dial is clean and free of dirt.
There appear to be virtually no scratches or discoloration upon inspection.
The caseback also has relatively few scratches, and the engravings remain clearly defined.
Overall, this is an excellent example whose condition suggests it was likely worn infrequently.
