Cartier's masterpiece, the Tank Louis.
This is a custom-ordered model of the Tank Louis LM from the 1980s.
It's extremely rare, so I was hesitant about keeping it as store stock, but I've decided to sell it during February.
It's a meticulously crafted piece with genuine diamonds, a genuine diamond dial, and a glass and case shape that differ from the standard Louis. You can really feel the original owner's taste in this piece.
When we checked the reference number with Cartier, they confirmed that it's not from a general collection line, but rather close to a one-of-a-kind, custom-ordered item (and we've confirmed everything is genuine).
We can surmise that it was extremely expensive even back then.
I've only seen this kind of case design on a very limited number of models.
Everything is genuinely authentic, no doubt about it. I guarantee it.
While many Louis Cartier Tank models have orthodox designs,
this one has a powerful design where the area normally occupied by glass is covered with gold gadroon decoration, and everything else is filled with diamonds.
Although it's a quartz watch, it actually has an advantage in terms of thinness, and for this watch's design and purpose, quartz might be a better fit.
It's safe to say that a Louis with this design is unlikely to appear again in the future.
It probably has very high collectability.
Cartier staff themselves have rarely seen this model, making it a truly rare item.
Of course, you can also receive complete service from Cartier, so you can use it with peace of mind.
Condition: The case is in good condition with no major dents.
Other than that, there are almost no scratches, and the condition appears to be quite good.
The dial and hands also have almost no scratches and are in very clean condition.
There are small minor scratches on the glass, but I believe they are barely noticeable.
Overall, I think the general condition is quite good.
The buckle is an authentic Cartier D-buckle from that period.
The band is a custom-ordered crocodile band from our store. (Adjustable to fit approximately 16.5-18.5cm wrist size).
