We are pleased to introduce Ref.125.125, a rare jumping-hour model by Universal Genève, renowned for developments such as the micro-rotor.
This model was made in the 1990s and appears to date from around Universal Genève’s centenary.
It is an extremely rare piece, particularly one in good condition with its original Strap and Buckle.
It features the unusual jumping-hour mechanism for Universal Genève.
The Janus Cavaillé, released around the same period, also features jumping hours, but this model has a simpler mechanism and is exceptionally easy to use.
Universal Genève, scheduled to return in 2026, is currently attracting considerable attention.
As a particularly unique model within Universal Genève’s history, this would make a rare and interesting addition to a collection.
PRODUCT DETAILS
Condition and Warranty
There are no particularly noticeable scratches, dirt, or scuffing on the dial, hands, or crystal. The case remains virtually unpolished to preserve its original condition, and is exceptionally clean apart from minor scratches.
Overall, it is in excellent condition.
The Buckle is a genuine Universal Genève GP Buckle. The Strap is also a genuine Universal Genève ostrich Strap, with some signs of use.
