Introducing a rare Polerouter Sub from Universal Genève, a brand renowned for its development of micro-rotors.
The Polerouter Sub is Universal Genève's iconic diver's model.
Its unique features, not found in other brands, include an asymmetrical case, Gay Frères bracelet, screw-down crown, and an exceptionally thin case thanks to its micro-rotor movement.
This particular piece was manufactured between the late 1960s and 1970s and is in completely original condition. The bracelet also appears to be full-length.
With minimal dial damage, its condition is excellent for its age, making it a truly rare find.
Regarding its condition, the case and bracelet have minor scratches but no major dents.
Although largely unpolished, the case is remarkably clean for its age.
The case back has some minor scratches but is otherwise clean. The serial number, though slightly faded, is still clearly visible.
The dial, hands, etc., have light scratches and dirt, but are clean considering their age.
The common dullness and discoloration of the indexes and hands are minimal, indicating excellent condition.
The crystal, while not cracked, has a general haziness that makes it appear slightly cracked.
It is the original Universal crystal with a rare cyclops lens on the inside, so it has not been replaced. However, it can be replaced with a generic crystal if desired (lens not included).
The bracelet has some slight stretching but is in overall good condition. The clasp is also secure.
Overall, it is in good condition considering its age.
