Piaget Tank Bark Dial Manual Wind 18k YG Gold
This is a 1970s Piaget Tank model, commonly known as the "Piaget Tank."
Piaget is a brand renowned for perfecting ultra-thin watches, and as you may know, "Piaget movements" were used in vintage Cartier models.
This model has gained popularity in recent years because it allows you to enjoy a Tank model equipped with a Piaget movement at an affordable price.
What is striking about this model is the bark-like pattern on the case and dial.
While it features Piaget's characteristic playful design, the bar indexes and hands are also three-dimensional, giving it a very luxurious feel.
This is a high-end timepiece from the 1970s, equipped with Piaget's Cal. 9P movement.
Production numbers were not very high, and being a Piaget, both the case and movement are excellent.
It is a highly recommended piece given its price range.
The size is similar to the Tank Louis LM and Tank Normale,
making it very easy to wear and a truly luxurious timepiece.
The case shows minor scratches but no significant dents or deep scratches.
The case back still has its original film, suggesting it was very well preserved.
The engravings and edges are well-preserved, and it appears to have undergone little to no polishing.
The dial has some light smudges but is overall very clean.
The hands and crystal also have very few stains or scratches and are clean. There is some discoloration on the hands, but we have intentionally left it as is. If desired, it can be removed to some extent.
The band and buckle are also original.
Overall, it is a watch in excellent condition.
