1970s Cartier Tank Allongée LM Extra-Flat PARIS ref. 32 cal. 21, officially serviced
This is a Tank Allongée from the 1970s, before its re-release as part of the Louis Cartier Collection.
In Japan, this model is sometimes informally called the "Tank Ellipse."
This watch has undergone a complete service at Cartier's Swiss headquarters, and the movement has been refurbished.
The dial and hands have also been restored by Cartier, with the "PARIS" dial being fully restored using materials and textures from the period. (This is not a common dial replacement.) There are no cracks.
The movement is a Frédéric Piguet, ultra-thin Cal. 21, found in the LM type of this model.
The dial's ambiance and case engravings evoke the 1970s, making this a unique piece.
It is a rare specimen in exceptionally good condition.
The case is in good condition overall, with few dents or scratches.
The case back is also almost free of scratches, and the engravings are not faded. It is very clean.
The glass is also almost entirely free of scratches.
The dial and hands have been restored by Cartier and are exceptionally clean.
Since they were fully restored to their original texture, the dial's color, material, and printed logo remain as they were.
Of course, it is a Paris dial with no cracks or scratches.
It comes with an authentic Cartier D-buckle from the period.
The band is a custom order from our shop.
