The Santos is an indispensable model when discussing Cartier. As the world's first men's wristwatch developed by Cartier, it's a historical model with enduring popularity.

This is a Ref. 78097 Santos-Dumont LM, released as part of the "Louis Cartier Collection" in the 1970s.
Even within the Louis Cartier Collection, the production number was small, making it quite rare to find one remaining in such good condition.
It features the rare original PARIS dial.

While the thin "Extra-Flat" model is popular among Santos-Dumont watches, this thicker Santos-Dumont LM offers a different charm. Its three-dimensional construction makes it a popular item among collectors.
Few remain, and it is a highly valued item overseas as well.

The case has some scratches but no major dents. It hasn't been over-polished, so the distinctive edges of the Santos are well-preserved. It appears to have undergone minimal polishing.
The glass and hands are almost free of scratches. The case back also has no scratches or dents. The serial number is clearly visible.
The dial is the rare PARIS dial.
There are faint cracks throughout, but they are barely noticeable unless viewed under specific lighting conditions; you would need to change the angle and squint to see them.
There is no discoloration, and it is a beautiful white dial.
Overall, this is a piece in excellent condition.

It's a piece that exudes the unique strength of the Santos, differing from the Extra-Flat.

The buckle is genuine Cartier GP.

Simply include your wrist measurement in the order notes when placing your order. Each bracelet is carefully adjusted after confirming its condition and construction.

If you prefer a leather strap, we are happy to recommend a suitable option based on the age of the watch, buckle style and lug width.
