We've managed to acquire a Tank Allongée PARIS, a rare find, for the first time.
It's an exceptional piece, even among the Louis Cartier Collection, and what makes it perfect is its Paris dial and perpetual warranty certificate.
Furthermore, the movement is a Frédéric Piguet, an LM type model equipped with the thin Cal.21 movement.
While the Paris dial and the Swiss dial with the guilloche type split popularity, PARIS dials are relatively scarce, and those with a perpetual warranty certificate are quite rare, making this a piece we can confidently recommend.
The condition of the case is generally good, with few dents or scratches.
There is no distortion in its shape, and it appears to be in a near-unpolished state, indicating the case is in very good condition.
The case back also has almost no scratches, and the engravings have not faded. It is very clean.
The glass has almost no scratches, and the hands show no discoloration.
The original PARIS dial has no discoloration and is in clean condition.
There are cracks throughout, but they are not very noticeable from a distance.
There is no risk of peeling during normal use, and it can be used without issue.
While it might seem wasteful, you could consider it an option to send it for a complete service and have the dial replaced yourself.
Overall, the case and other components are in very good condition, suggesting it is in fine condition.
This is a complete set with a Paris dial and warranty certificate, but due to some cracks on the dial, we are offering it at a relatively lower price.
The Ref. 96041 is a model from the Tank series, featuring the original PARIS dial, a thin manual winding movement, and solid gold, which is
expected to attract even more attention in the future.
The buckle is a genuine Cartier GP.
