This is a rare YG and WG combination Vendôme model from the Louis Cartier Collection, featuring a "PARIS" dial.
The Ref. 78211 we are introducing today is a Vendôme LM YG×WG combination manual-winding model.
This Vendôme is packed with highly rare elements: a combination manual-winding movement and a "PARIS" dial.
Among Vendôme models, the combination models had a very limited production run, manufactured only for a specific period.
The production numbers were quite low, and it is estimated that their market availability is similar to that of WG models.
While WG manual-winding models from the 1970s in the Louis Cartier Collection have seen significant price increases, combination models are still more accessible, making them a recommended choice.
The condition is good, and the "PARIS" dial is also a great combination.
The case condition is excellent, with only minor scratches overall and few significant dents or scratches.
The case has undergone minimal polishing, so it doesn't appear worn down, and there are very few scratches on the case back.
The crystal is original with few scratches.
The dial has faint cracks visible upon close inspection, but they are not very noticeable from a distance. They become apparent when scrutinizing under certain lighting conditions. (If you wish to see more details, please request a video.)
Other than that, there are almost no scratches or dirt, and the "PARIS" dial shows little discoloration. The hands are a beautiful blue steel with no discoloration.
The buckle is an authentic Cartier 18k WG D-buckle from that period, and the band is a new, custom-ordered Cartier band.
