In recent years, Boucheron watches from before 1970 have become a hot topic after being featured in HODINKEE.
We were able to acquire a virtually unavailable 1950s hand-wound Boucheron Reflet.
As watch enthusiasts know, the 1950s, like Cartier, was a time of strong handcrafted and bespoke concepts, with limited production and sales only to a select clientele.
It features a patented clasp system, still in use today, that allows the band to be attached and detached by sliding, a unique feature at the time.
Moreover, this white gold model is particularly rare due to its very limited production run.
The movement uses Omega, which is highly reliable, making it a recommended piece. (As indicated by the case engraving, movements were supplied during this period.)
Since it is almost never seen on the market, it is a very valuable piece.
Regarding its condition, the case has minor scratches but no major dents.
It is essentially unpolished, but the case condition is quite good considering its age.
A noteworthy point is that the case edges are still very sharp, indicating that it is a historically rare model that has been kept unpolished for many years.
The dial, hands, etc., have scratches and dirt, but are considered clean given their age.
Although the hands show some dullness, they have a nice patina and are thought to be in good condition.
The crystal is also clean.
There are no other particularly noticeable areas, and it has not been polished to maintain its original condition.
Overall, it is in good condition considering its age.
Since the buckle is a special type of Boucheron clasp, we offer a free band creation service at our store to fit the purchaser's wrist size.
For the band, after purchase, we will measure your wrist size, order the band from our store, and install it upon delivery. (The band in the photo is for illustration purposes and is not included.)
It will also be delivered after an overhaul.
Delivery will be approximately 4 to 6 weeks after purchase. Please contact us if you wish to order the band yourself.
