This design was named Obus because the shape of its lugs resembles an artillery shell.
It was first released around 1940, then reissued in the 1990s for a brief period. This model is no longer in production, making it a rare item only available as a vintage piece.
The case is in good condition, with minor scratches but no major damage or dents.
The hands, crystal, and dial are all virtually free of stains and appear to be in clean condition.
In particular, the dial is in beautiful condition with no cracks or blemishes.
A complete manufacturer's overhaul was performed on February 8, 2024, covering the internal movement and dial, with repair costs of approximately 90,000 yen included. The movement has been upgraded, so you can use it with peace of mind. A 24-month Cartier warranty is included from February 8, 2024.
