This is a rare IWC OCEAN 2000 Ref. 3500 Porsche Design titanium model.
The Ocean 2000 is famous as a diver's watch adopted by the West German Navy.
It is a masterpiece designed by Porsche and manufactured by IWC. With 2000 meters of water resistance and a titanium case, it is a high-spec and stylish timepiece that is still relevant today.
This Ref. 3500 is a rare find, as good condition examples with their original bracelets are extremely uncommon.
There are several models of the Ocean 2000, from early to late production, differing mainly in dial markings and bracelet shape.
This is a first-generation model, and the easiest to change the bracelet. (This individual has a single-lock, mid-period models have a double-lock, and late-period models use a pin system.)
Many watches have had their bracelets replaced with new models during manufacturer OH, so this original bracelet is quite rare, especially for enthusiasts.
Very few early models remain.
This early model is quite rare because the dial does not have "PD," "Porsche Design," or "IWC" markings.
The size is a superb 42mm, and the titanium case and bracelet make it very lightweight and comfortable to wear.
The bezel has a unidirectional rotating function, and the luminous material is tritium, offering excellent practicality. (Since it's an original dial from that era, it barely glows anymore.)
In terms of condition, there are no noticeable scratches or scuffs on the dial, hands, or crystal.
The bezel, case, and bracelet have only minor scratches and are in good condition considering they are unpolished. (We do not polish titanium.)
The bracelet is 17.5cm, which should fit a wide range of wrists.
All parts are original from that time, and the overall condition appears good.
