We are pleased to introduce the Golden Janus Cabriolet 042.400, a limited edition of 150 pieces, a 100th-anniversary model by Universal Genève, famous for developing micro-rotors and other innovations.
This is a special model with a reversible case, similar to Jaeger-LeCoultre's Reverso, but it features a unique and distinctive method of reversal where the case is lifted and then flipped.
Only 150 pieces of this platinum and pink gold combination model were produced in 1994.
It is a special model with dual time, calendar, day/night indicator, and jumping hour, among other special functions.
It is an extremely rare item worldwide. As few are fully functional, this model is hardly ever seen on the market.
In terms of condition, there are no noticeable scratches, stains, or scuffs on the dial, hands, or glass. It has not been polished to maintain its original condition.
Overall, it is in very beautiful condition.
The buckle is an 18k and stainless steel combination Universal original D-buckle. The strap is aftermarket.
Daily rate is within +30 seconds when flat.
