Bell & Ross is a young brand, established in 1992, but it has grown into a highly recognized brand in recent years, which is rare.
This Type Demineur is a late 1990s model, and as its name suggests, "TYPE DEMINEUR" means "mine disposal expert" in French.
It is a professional watch made for French security organizations, featuring magnetic resistance, a highly water-resistant screw-down crown, anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass, and a unidirectional rotating bezel to track elapsed time.
The case structure is also designed to be non-magnetic, truly living up to its name.
While current Bell & Ross watches are known for their square designs, at the time, the design and aesthetic were different from current models, making for a very distinctive creation.
