This time, we are introducing the 150th Anniversary Limited Edition model, the Santos Ref. 1566 Quartz model.

This special limited edition Santos, produced in 1997 for Cartier's 150th anniversary, has just arrived.
In that year, many 150th-anniversary models were released, most of which now command a premium.
Although this is not a limited quantity model, it is very rare with very little market circulation.
This is an LM-sized model. While the Ref. 1566 is common to other Santos Galbée models, this is undoubtedly a 150th-anniversary limited edition model.

Its form is a special Santos Galbée model with a leather strap instead of a bracelet.
Since it was sold with this leather band type from the time of its release, no bracelet is included with this model.
Unlike a regular Galbée, it features a classic design, and unique to the limited edition model, an engraved "L♡C" on the dial, a "C" mark, and characteristics found only in the 150th anniversary models.
Although it is a quartz model, the 150th-anniversary type Santos Galbée leather version does not come in a mechanical movement; this is the only type available.

The case is in excellent condition overall, with few major scratches.
The case edges are well-defined.
The serial number on the case back is well-preserved, and it is very clean.
There are no scratches on the glass, dial, etc.

There is almost no sign of use, and it is very clean overall.
The buckle is an authentic Cartier D-buckle, and the band is a new authentic Cartier one.

  • Natural mechanical failures occurring within the warranty period will be inspected and repaired in accordance with Ante’s warranty terms.

Complimentary bracelet sizing is available to ensure your watch fits comfortably from the moment it arrives.

Simply include your wrist measurement in the order notes when placing your order. Each bracelet is carefully adjusted after confirming its condition and construction.

If you prefer a leather strap, we are happy to recommend a suitable option based on the age of the watch, buckle style and lug width.

Tax-free shopping is available at our Ginza store for eligible international visitors.

Eligible customers are required to present their original passport and any other documentation required for the tax-free procedure.
