The Ref. 17010 Gondolo LM PARIS dial automatic model we are introducing this time. This is a rare automatic winding model among the Tank Louis Cartier collection, which was released in the 1970s. Furthermore, this is a rare individual that has undergone a complete service at Cartier and has a new PARIS dial. A characteristic of this automatic winding model is that the case back is bulging to accommodate the thick movement with a rotor, and the thick case is very distinctive. Unlike the Louis Jumbo, the size is the same as the LM hand-wound Gondolo, except for the thickness of the case, but I think the thickness adds to its powerful presence. The case condition is generally very good, with few major dents or scratches. There is no feeling of a thin case or rounded-off shape. The serial number on the case back is well-preserved and it is very clean. There are no scratches on the glass, dial, or hands. The complete service included glass replacement, dial replacement, hand replacement, and movement overhaul, all performed at Cartier. Since the dial has also been officially replaced, it is pure white and has no cracks. Normally, PARIS dials circulate as original pieces from that time, but this one has been changed to a PARIS dial through official repair. In recent years, the color of officially repaired dials is characterized by being whiter and having a stronger, ceramic-like luster than dials from around 1970-1980. It also has high visibility and durability. Basically, even with a PARIS dial, if the dial is replaced during a Cartier complete service, it would be changed to a "Swiss Made" notation, but this is a rare item where the PARIS dial was replaced with another PARIS dial. The criteria and conditions for this PARIS dial are unclear, but it is undoubtedly a genuine item. Such individuals appear very rarely. The buckle is a genuine Cartier 18k, and the band is also a new genuine Cartier one. The Gondolo LM automatic itself is a very rare item, but it is even rarer to find it in this condition.
