Cartier Tank Louis LM PARIS Dial Manual Winding
The Tank Louis Cartier is a classic in the Tank series.
Its value has continued to rise in recent years, with the rare LM hand-wound models from around 1970 seeing a particular increase in value.
Among the Louis Cartier collection of the 1970s, good condition LM hand-wound models are scarce.
This is a highly rare item, featuring the men's size LM, hand-wound movement, the original PARIS dial from that era, and absolutely no cracks.
Despite minor scratches, the overall condition is good with few major dents or scratches.
There is no thinning of the case or rounding of the shape. The gold hallmark on the side also remains.
There are some light scratches on the case back, but they have been left as is to avoid fading the engravings.
The glass is also in beautiful condition with no noticeable scratches.
The dial has no cracks. Most PARIS dials have some cracks, but this one has none at all.
The dial is a slightly ivory color.
Discoloration is visible near the edge at the 5 o'clock and 11 o'clock positions, but it is not noticeable from a distance and adds to the vintage charm, so it has been left as is.
This is a form of color aging and is not a problem with rust or the dial itself, so it can be used without issue.
Overall, it is in excellent condition with no problems, but due to the slight character of the dial, it has been priced very affordably.
The buckle is a genuine Cartier 18k.
The band is aftermarket and measures up to 18cm in length.
