Throughout its long history, it has provided movements to renowned brands such as Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet, establishing itself as a true powerhouse manufacturer. This is a rare skeleton model, the JAEGER LECOULTRE 141.007.1, released in 1983. The archives were acquired in October, and it is an all-original piece in excellent condition. It boasts very special specifications and is exceptionally beautiful to behold. The crown is made of tiger's eye, the movement baseplate is solid 14k gold, and the movement itself is a special model based on the ultra-thin Cal. 839 movement, with intricate engraving. Both the front and back feature a skeleton design, allowing one to admire the beautiful movement. Jaeger-LeCoultre skeleton watches from this era are rarely seen, making this a very rare find. The original price tag is also included. The Cal. 839 movement in this watch was undoubtedly a high-end movement for its time, as its successor, Cal. 849, is still one of the thinnest hand-wound movements available today. It shares a similar aesthetic with the current Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Squelette, a skeleton model from the same movement family. Overall condition is excellent. The case is in very good condition with no major dents or scratches, only minor scuffs. The crystal is very clean with no noticeable scratches or chips. The hands and the double-sided skeleton movement are also very clean, with no dirt or stains. The buckle is genuine Jaeger-LeCoultre GP, and the band is original. Maintained.
