The Tank Louis Cartier is the quintessential Tank series.
Its value has been continuously rising in recent years, with the scarcity value of the LM hand-wound model, especially those around 1970, increasing.
This is a rather rare piece that has undergone a complete service at Cartier and features a new PARIS dial.
Typically, even with a PARIS dial, if it's replaced during a Cartier complete service, it would be changed to a "swiss made" dial. However, this is a rare item where the PARIS dial was maintained after replacement.
While the criteria and conditions are unclear, it is undoubtedly a genuine repair with a certificate, making it an authentic item. Such cases seem to occur very rarely.
The complete service included the replacement of the crystal, dial, screws, and hands, all completed.
Since the dial was officially replaced, it is pristine white with no cracks.
Normally, PARIS dials circulate as original pieces from that era, but this one was changed to a PARIS dial through a genuine repair.
It underwent genuine Cartier repair in August 2023.
The completed dial is made of a crack-resistant material, so the PARIS dial is in excellent condition and is very suitable for daily use.
Overall, the condition is good, with few major dents or scratches. It has been lightly polished as part of the complete service.
