Rolex's "Cellini" gets its name from Benvenuto Cellini, a sculptor of the Renaissance.
While Rolex is strongly associated with Oyster and sports models, dress watches have recently been re-evaluated and their value has been increasing.
This is a Ref. 4012-45 model. It features a white gold square case and a mirrored blue dial. The dial changes its expression depending on the light and angle, displaying beautiful colors not seen today, making it a luxurious and atmospheric piece.
While it has a "King Midas" like atmosphere, this design is easy for everyday wear. This model is still affordably priced, so it is recommended.
The movement is a cal. 1600. It is a highly reliable movement.
The leather band is the one that came with the watch when it was originally sourced. It has some signs of wear, but it will be fine for a while. We can also order a new one for you, so please let us know if needed.
The buckle is also genuine Rolex in WG.
The case has no major scratches or dents. The dial has some light discoloration between the 2 and 3 o'clock positions, but it is barely noticeable. For a 50-year-old watch, it is in remarkably good condition.
