We will notify you by email when this watch, the same model, or a related model becomes available.
Released as part of the Louis Cartier collection in the 1970s, this “Vendôme Louis Cartier” Ref. 78090 features a solid-gold case, Manual-Winding movement, and PARIS Dial—an exceptional example of what made Cartier watches of the era so special.
Cartier watches from this Era predate the introduction of the secret signature on the dial. While SM examples can be found in the market, LM examples are much rarer.
The round case wears comfortably on the wrist, and the double-line case design is particularly elegant.
The Strap was custom-made by an independent maker. (It has a rubber lining.)
The movement is the highly reliable cal. 78-1 Manual-Winding movement.
For those who prefer, the dial could be replaced through a complete service. However, we do not recommend doing so, as this is an original PARIS Dial and replacing it would be a shame.
PRODUCT DETAILS
Condition and Warranty
The dial remains the rare original PARIS Dial, which has not been replaced since the watch was produced.
There are fine cracks across the dial, but they are visible only when viewed under magnification or in certain lighting.
They are not particularly noticeable when worn or when reading the time.
The case retains the character of the period. It has only light surface scratches, with no significant dents. It has essentially received no more than a light polish.
The crystal has virtually no scratches.
Serviced with an overhaul.
