The Must Tank, released to the general public, was a "Tank Louis" that is still historically popular.
Rare early Must Tanks are called Pre-Must Tanks, and this particular model is a Pre-Must Tank for Europe, which was produced in even smaller quantities.
The European specification is almost identical to the Tank Louis in its basic construction, with the main differences being that the case is vermeil instead of 18k gold, and the dial's inscription is cursive script rather than block letters.
Therefore, it is a popular item that at first glance doesn't look like a Louis, but it is an extremely rare piece.
Now that the Louis is skyrocketing in price, this is a highly recommended item.
Regarding its condition, there are very few dents or scratches on the case, and the plating is well-preserved (only the crown is slightly faded).
We have barely polished it to preserve the original plating, so there are some scratches, but we believe it is in good condition.
The dial, hands, and glass are all clean, and for a Pre-Must, it appears to be in remarkably good condition.
