Among vintage Cartier watches, the Stepped Tank Jumbo is a rare model.
This model was produced in limited quantities in New York, Paris, and London around 1970 (approximately between 1973 and 1976).
There are subtle design differences depending on the region, and
this particular model is either a Paris or London model, featuring a push-back case with no screws on the case back.
Due to them being in the same European region, the Paris and London models are so similar that distinguishing between them is difficult. This model was sold in either France or the UK.
As only 5,000 pieces were produced in each country at the time, they are extremely rare.
Models with larger case sizes have historically had limited production and circulation, making it rare for them to even enter Japan.
The dial is lacquer-coated and brown.
It is clean with almost no cracks, and the texture is lovely.
Both the glass and case have few major scratches, placing it in the category of good condition.
This is a rare, large-sized model, which is uncommon among vintage Cartiers.
It is extremely difficult to find an individual in such good condition, so future availability is likely to be very limited.
