The Tank Louis Cartier is the quintessential Tank series watch.
In recent years, its value has continued to rise, with the rare LM manual-winding model, particularly those from around 1970, seeing increased demand.
This is an LM manual-winding model from the 1970s Louis Cartier collection, a period where models in good condition are scarce.
It is a highly rare item, featuring the men's size LM and manual winding, an original PARIS dial, and absolutely no cracks.
Overall, the condition is good with few major dents or scratches.
There is no thinning of the case or rounding of its shape. The gold engraving on the side also remains.
The dial is clean with no cracks. Most PARIS dials usually have some cracks, but this one miraculously has none.
It appears to have discolored to a slight ivory hue, which might be due to its age, but we believe it adds to its character.
We don't recommend it as it's a rare PARIS dial, but if you prefer a pure white dial, you might consider having the dial replaced through Cartier's complete service.
The buckle is an authentic Cartier 18k buckle (adjustable type).
The band is made by CASSIS and has a maximum length of 17cm. If you find it too short, we recommend ordering a custom one from Cartier or us.
It was overhauled by our store in May 2023.
