Among Cartier's series, the 'Ballon Bleu' is a relatively new model. Although the Ballon Bleu generally has a strong feminine image, this 42mm solid gold version instantly exudes a masculine feel. It possesses a dignified weight, with a substantial 220g of gold, truly noticeable. This is a unique piece with a rare ambiance. The current LM model is only available up to 40mm, and this 42mm model was recently discontinued. At the time, it cost around 4.2 million yen, so if it existed today, it would likely be around 5 million yen. The 42mm is a rare model that does not circulate much. Moreover, it has a wrist size of up to approximately 19mm with full links, making it suitable for a wide range of users. The 42mm solid gold Ballon Bleu is believed to have a better ambiance than the current 40mm. The condition of the case and bezel is excellent, with no significant scratches or dents. Although not noticeable unless closely inspected, there are light scratches only on the lugs, which have been left as is (they are at a level that can be removed with polishing). It has undergone a Cartier complete service and finished with a light polish. Since it was sent for complete service to Cartier in an almost unused state, the wear from polishing is believed to be very minimal. The dial and glass are both in excellent condition. The bracelet also has almost no scratches. After purchase, repairs and maintenance are available at our store.
