Cartier Ceinture XL Automatic
This is a Cartier Ceinture XL from the Louis Cartier Collection, manufactured in the 1970s. While the LM (hand-wound) is 28mm, the XL (automatic) is a slightly larger 31mm. Despite being called XL, it is considered a good size for men. To accommodate the automatic movement, the case back is convex, making it easily distinguishable when viewed from the side. It features Cal. 170, Ref. 17001. This particular model has the rare PARIS dial from that era. There are cracks and stains, but we have left it as is to preserve its original condition. Considering its age, the condition is good, and it has been finished with a light polish. There are no scratches on the glass. The dial has a stain-like mark in the center, a stain at the 2 o'clock position, and light cracks throughout, but we believe this gives it a nice character. If you are concerned, you can have the dial replaced for tens of thousands of yen through Cartier's complete service. The band is a nearly unused custom-made strap (approx. 16.5cm), and it comes with an early Cartier deployant buckle. The deployant buckles from that period were not adjustable, and each strap had to be custom-made. If desired, a custom-made strap can be ordered for approximately 30,000 yen. Overhauled (including mainspring replacement), with a daily rate difference of ±30 seconds. The case is free of significant dents or stains. Other than the dial, it is quite clean, so replacing the dial would restore it to its original condition. (Though it would then say "swiss," which we don't highly recommend.) 《Product Details》 Brand Name: Cartier Product Name: Ceinture XL Automatic Movement: Automatic Material: YG Serial: 170010*** Color: Gold Case Diameter: Approx. 31mm (width) x 31mm (height) Wrist Size: Up to approx. 16.8cm Buckle: Original Strap: Aftermarket strap Accessories: Our 3-month warranty Flat rate: approx. ±10 seconds
